The 2014 Calendars.

Our FREE 2014 downloadable calendars are available this year in two versions, one of which, the "Main" version, also includes holidays and moon phases, along with the "Notables" (basis for namedays).
The 12 months of this "Main" version, from January thru December, can be viewed and downloaded from the left side column.

However, if you prefer not to have names and dates of these notables shown in the calendar, and like to view and download pages of the "conventional" version of the calendar instead, please use the pull-down menu below (Requires also Adobe Reader).

We like Abobe Reader because it allows anyone to view and print "PDF" files, such as the pages of our nameday calendars, accurately, exactly as they were originally created.
When viewing, enlarge the page to the size you feel most comfortable with, and, in fact, you can enlarge these pages to almost any size.

Important: If you want to print, remember to set your printer's page layout to "Landscape".

(Before downloading and printing, please read the copyright notice on the bottom of this page.)

As we have mentioned in some of the past year's editions,The American Nameday Calendar is unique in a sense that, although first and foremost we celebrate our own first names, the calendar has become, in a way, instant reminder of many prominent Americans and eminent Christians on whom most of our namedays are based.
(Originally all namedays in European calendars were based, and most of them still do, only on the feast days of the saints)
And a really nice thing about this celebration and using the calendar, is that observing and celebrating namedays can be started at any time of the year.
